Edvard GreigThe centerpiece of this concert is the Grieg Piano Concerto in A Minor.

The Grieg Piano Concerto is one of the most popular of all classical piano concertos, performed with some of the top piano virtuosity in the world. This concert is given in collaboration with the encouragement and support of the Gurwitz International Piano Competition organization.

The first half of the concert will open with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s thrilling music to Jesus Christ Superstar. We also bring Mexican composer Carlos Chavez to the spotlight with his innovative music composed with Indigenous Mexican melodies, harmonies, and instruments.
