This year, the Symphony of the Hills Association embarked on an ambitious program to fund a Permanent Endowment Fund, from which scholarships can be awarded to gifted and accomplished young musicians interested in pursuing an education at Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX.

The Association's goal is to raise $300,000, from which $15,000 in scholarships can be granted annually. Initially, the Symphony has funded the Endowment to a level of $25,000 pursuant to a Board Resolution of December 4, 2006.

The Symphony has also authorized an amount of $10,000 to be utilized to fund the first annual Schreiner student musical scholarship award and is pursuing various fund raising activities to support the Endowment.
