
Dustin Turner
Violinist

Sixteen year old Dustin
Turner began his musical studies on violin at age 4
and piano at age 7. He was a member of the top
Texas All-State Symphony Orchestra in 2013 and has
performed as a violin soloist for two orchestras.
In addition Dustin has been a violinist in the top Hill
Country Youth Orchestra for 10 years.
On piano, Dustin has performed the Mozart Piano Concerto No.
27 with two orchestras as well as for several
masterclasses.
Currently a junior, he
enjoys all of his homeschool classes but especially
excels in Math. His goal is to attend Rice
University and to have a career as an Actuary or
Engineer. Aside from Music, Dustin also enjoys
Swimming, as well as Basketball and Volleyball.
Dustin recently attained the rank of
Eagle Scout.
He is president of his local chapter of Eta
Sigma Alpha National Honor Society where he
presides over monthly meetings and leads in
community service projects. He
also teaches weekly classes in music
theory for homeschoolers as well as two
pre-engineering Lego classes as an instructor for
Bricks4Kidz.
